Nothing is better than vacation on a beach in warm weather... Maui is no exception. It was our first time to the island and we loved it!
Water babies all around! This little guy finally got up the courage to swim in the pool "all by himself (he says)" without having anyone holding him. Steve spent hours throwing him across the pool...
Love these guys.
My view for 50% of the time.
My view for the other 50% of the time.
Just looking at this photo makes me want to buy tickets again right now!
This is "Dukes," the onsite restaurant- very convenient but not so great- expensive, no gluten free options! Lame..
Sebastian found crabs, made sand castles, found crabs, made sand castles...
Floating "all by himself!"
Emi and I both threw up on the way out to the snorkeling reef- it wasn't looking pretty. The waves were gigantic- but once we hit the water- it was amazing! We haven't ever seen water that clear in Hawaii before and it was a nice surprise :) Maddie and I saw an Octopus! It was amazing- and Maddie saw an Eel and a purple sting ray. And, of course turtles at every turn. This world is simply beautiful:)
These guys... so lucky to be traveling with them!
We ventured out to the side of the island where the Ritz Carlton property was built- super beautiful and lots of wiiiinnnddd.
Maddie felt like she was going to take off!
Not a bad shot for a camera on the rocks with a timer!
We decided to venture out to do some hiking into the volcano and were able to do about 4 miles? The clouds would go in and out of the volcano, so we got glimpses every so often.
Dang- we were high...
Can't say that I ever remember driving above the clouds?
Gorgeous drive!
Maddie has always wanted to snorkel, so we decided to let her snuba- and she was a natural!
Cheering Maddie on!
One happy girl back from her adventures.
Oh, how I miss this pool!
If mermaids exist, she would be one.
Waited 90 minutes for these babies, shave ice to be exact, and they were definitely worth it!
Tried to hike this, but the water level was too high, so we stuffed ourselves with coconut candy instead!
Mama's fish house... oh yes. Delicious and expensive, but definitely best restaurant we've been to in Hawaii.
View from our hotel balcony- and if we looked to the mountains we saw a rainbow about half the time!
The water clarity and fish... absolutely stunning.
Waterslides off boats are pretty dang cool.
Emilie was still feeling a bit sick, but they had these awesome floating devices that let her see in the water!
These turtles are amazing.
Goat farm. I could have stuffed one of these little guys in my bag they were so cute.
What the inside of a volcano looks like.
Shenanigans inside of the car.
Amen.
