A summer full of Great America

Certain places or destinations have been favorites of ours based on what the kids could do. We hadn't been to Great America very often until this summer because everyone was too small to enjoy it- but we got the taste of "the big rides" this summer! I had to buy Maddie an adult season pass, because she is so tall- and can ride all of the adult rides! Ah! And- she is a daredevil- I am definitely more scared of everything, wouldn't think about "drop zone," but she swaggers into the line like she is rolling out of bed. It's kind of incredible to see your kid do things you can't even do!? We went with lots of other families this summer with older kids so she could enjoy the park without having to stick with the younger kids- we used those Gold passes and I'm sad to see this summer season leave!
