Christmas is always a whirlwind every year- but these were some of the highlights!
We love going to MV's production of the nutcracker. It is perfect in length, cost and proximity to us- we took the whole family :) I may have fed Sebastian a whole bag of candy for him to sit the entire performance! Yikes. Here is Maddie with the star performers! That rat king is pretty epic!
I took the kids to see my dad in his new condo in Henderson- it was so beautiful there- and of course we were in for the royal treatment for every meal. Buffets are the best.
Las Vegas is not one of my favorites- but we tried to stick to some fun things to do. The ferris wheel was pretty awesome- and a bit terrifying!

We've never been to Hoover Dam- so we'd thought we'd take a peak. Pretty cool- and also terrifying if you went out on the ledges!!

Sebastian also performed in his Christmas concert at PELC preschool. Although he is a natural athlete, he isn't a natural performer. Poor guy always looks down, doesn't move, and here, he was picking his nose! Oh well, you can't be good at everything!
For Christmas, we stayed at home and relaxed, cooked and cooked some more. Here we were making cinnamon rolls. Always the best with Steve.
Christmas Eve dinner. A little bit exhausting after you cook all day, but always such a great feeling.
For New Years Eve, we had some new friends come over and play games. It was pretty fun- lots of laughs and a start to dinners every month with them!!
