On Saturday we got a call from a friend inviting us to go to dinner. It was a crazy Saturday, and I was dreaming of sitting on the couch all night, but boy am I glad I didn't.
We went to XANH-- what? Yes- XANH. Apparently, it means blue in Vietnamese?
Wow- what a place. I haven't been to this caliber of a restaurant in a while (ok- maybe I haven't been out that much?). The food was not only delicious, but it was so beautiful. Every plate was a piece of art-- but not in a bad way. (you know what I mean!) I think Steve left a little hungry (the portions aren't that big), but he really liked it too.
