In order to get this price, we bought the bunk bed in a color we didn't like, but decided that painting it would be no big deal. We also bought a bookcase...
Steve worked on the bookcase and beds all day on Sat, and I was just waiting for the hours to pass.... checking in on him every second. Finally around 5, he said he was done. YAY!
As we waited for them to dry, we hear a big BOOM. The wind blew the bookcase over and it completely broke the back of the bookcase and cracked the top.
Mad/sad/angry doesn't quite describe how I felt!!! URGH. Isn't life just like this sometimes?!!! You spend all the energy you have, and all of the energy that you don't have to get something done, and then BOOM. It's all over, and you have to peel yourself off of the floor and try again.
I'm so glad there are 24 hours cycles :)

Oh my goodness--that is absolutely worth a good cry! Are the bunkbeds okay?
Aww. What a disappointment. I hope everything turned out ok. We just switched the twins over to new "low loft" beds. They are really fun. Constructing them would have been a total disaster for us though - it took the guys 3 hours to set them up. Kudos to your super handy hubby!
