Summer lovn

When summer decides to come, it comes! It was rainy/sunny/rainy/sunny for so long... but I think it's finally here. I think we will buy the summer kiddie pool this week.

I really hope that this new weather will also bring no germs! At the end of May, the girls caught some type of cough/fever that lasted the entire week- blossoming at it's best on my birthday. It was a great day of unhappiness, but luckily Steve and I got to escape for a couple of hours (Thank you A!)
On other fronts, we have been tending our garden and looks like we'll have 24 tomato plants, corn, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini (not sure why we did this again- seems like I can't eat this fast enough and it's not our favorite), and strawberries. We get a lot of satisfaction for some reason... out of this little garden. We go out there everyday and see what's happened.

And- I shy away from typing this (from fear that it actually won't happen)... but I think we will be staying in this beautiful apartment.... in ......

PARIS! As luck would have it, Steve needs to travel to Berlin, we need a vacation... and I think it's going to happen! I have been spending almost every free moment trying to secure our spot in an apartment for our family and another family that we're going with... and I hope it happens :)

It is cliche, but Paris is definitely my favorite city that I've been to. I think I've been there 4 or 5 times, and I love it even more each time I go. Food, lifestyle, culture, architecture, history, beauty.... it has it all. And- a great metro. I learned how to roller skate there when my parents took me, so I can't wait to bring skates for Maddie....

Love the apartment! I hope you get it. I need to go to Paris. Can I come and be your nanny?

Do you already have tomatoes in your garden? You're going to leave it there to die now! Oh well....you'll have so much fun in Paris!

Oooh I hope you get that beautiful apartment too! I am so impressed by your garden. Want to trade tomatoes for lemons? Also, we just got a wading pool on Saturday. It's so much work to set up and clean up each time but the kids LOVE it.
