Halloween- still my favorite holiday

This year had a lot of parades, parties and tons of trick or treating. Man, I love Halloween. Emilie started us off with her little parade at her preschool- and these kids were adorable.

Emilie was a "My Little Princess Unicorn." This was a little bit more complicated than usual because it doesn't really exist in the costume world, but I think we pulled it off pretty well! She was so proud of her costume and got tons of compliments :))

 My little cutie.

Ok- this is sort of random, but our friend- who famously throws Halloween parties, had a party theme of "Only the Good Die Young," (come as a person who died young, career crashed etc). I think Sarah Palin pretty much falls in that category. And... I didn't have to buy a thing!!

Here are our cuties- the BatGirl, Little Pony Unicorn, and Giraffe. I'm not sure Sebastian really liked this (obvious), but soooo cute!

Maddie carved this by herself! I love the eye lashes :)

 The sistas...

Emilie did this! Not bad for a 3 year old!!!

Next up was Maddie's parade... and this is her colorful class. Yes, folks. It's 30 kids in a class in California. I think I would die if I had to teach everyday with this energy of kids...

They had a parade, and gave each other high fives...

I think she really looks great in this costume... maybe as a second career?

I also love this little ghost...

How is Halloween over already?

A little place called Germany

Steve has been traveling a lot this month to Germany, and sometimes it leaves me in the dust, other times I feel like I am wonder woman and can do it all. There was a mixture of both, but I'm glad he's back for a while. I think I went to bed at 9 every night to have enough energy to handle it all (mostly taking care of a newborn... urgh.

Everytime Steve comes back from Germany, he brings us presents. Lucky huh?
Last trip, Emi got her favorite- a playmobil set, Maddie got an umbrella that she has been wanting, Sebi got super cute burb cloths, and best of all... I got super fancy macaroons. Oh man. They were pretty amazing, and had about every flavor from Guava, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, mint... yummmmmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks Steve :) We love you.

Pumpkin Patches, jump houses and more...

I didn't have the stomach to drive to Lemos Farm this year in Half Moon Bay... we've done it every year for 5 years now? A friend suggested this farm- Spina Farm as a good alternative- and it is beautiful (but further away than I thought). I had a great time with A and C... hayrides, pumpkins, a little train. A great place :)

We also have done the jumpy house circuit around town, and I think this was our favorite- a random one in a busy street with the perfect amount of slope :) It was great to hang out with our ex Spanish school friends- we miss them!
